Joshua Men!

"So the people shouted 
 when the priests blew with 
 the trumpets: 
 and it came to pass, 
 when the people heard 
 the sound of the trumpet, 
 and the people shouted 
 with a great shout, 
 that the wall fell down flat, 
 so that the people went 
 up into the city, every 
 man straight before him, 
 and they took the city."

"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."  Joshua 24:15

   Joshua Men's Purpose:

1. Create a positive environment which encourages and develops godly love for one another:   
"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."    John 13:34-35

2. Build up men in the Apostolic faith, with earnest prayer:
"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,: Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."      Jude 1:20-1:21

3. Help men serve as godly examples in their home, job and the church:  
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men"  
Colossians 3:23

4. Equip men to accomplish works of the ministry:
"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;"       Ephesians 4:11
