Commitment
The sun its daily course has run,
And duties of the day seem done.
So heart's adrift and free.
But you, blest Lord, with touch Divine
Lay'st claim upon these hands of mine
To work full-time for you
My life, my all are Yours alone,
You claims o'er me I Humbly own,
Bow to Your sovereign will.
You do not want the swift nor strong
But those whose hearts to You belong,
Whom You can use Your way.
You break down, Lord, my stubborn will,
My restless spirit You can still.
So, Lord, I pray, now let
My eyes, my voice, my hands, my feet
Be ready for each need to meet
As by You spirit led.
